Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Data, Communications, and Policy Analyst to support DHS ICE program management, data analytics, and executive tasking responses. The role is fully remote within the CONUS, with occasional in-person work in DC as needed.

You will draft responses, pull data from ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Power Apps, and build dashboards using Power BI for senior leadership. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, plus strong communication skills and ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience working in a dynamic, quick turn US government environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis and communications support on a range of activities including drafting responses to congressional correspondence, requests for information, unit taskings and senior leadership documentation.
• Pull data from data systems including ServiceNow, MS SharePoint and MS Power Applications.
• Use Power BI to build data sets, dashboards, and responses to data-specific taskings.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with federal law enforcement managers and subject matter experts.
• Translate complex, technical policies into clear language.
• Track and report progress of written tasks, subtasks, and reports.
• Assist clients with ad hoc research and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect information for timely responses.
• Facilitate client needs and propose solutions to challenges.
• Support cross-discipline team members to meet deadlines and schedules.
• Develop and disseminate information among customers and external stakeholders.
