Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking a hands-on Data Engineering Lead to guide our data engineering team and shape the next stage of Oxford's enterprise data platform. You will lead a small team while driving architecture, development, troubleshooting, and delivery across Azure and Fabric.

The role focuses on building reliable data products, improving platform reliability, and partnering with analytics, technology, and business teams. Remote, Eastern U.S. region, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of data engineering experience, including at least two years in a lead role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric in production.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL).
• Advanced T-SQL skills for ETL at scale.
• Experience with orchestration, monitoring, and debugging data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers with clear priorities and career growth.
• Own the platform strategy across Azure and Microsoft Fabric, consolidating pipelines and components.
• Build and mature the Fabric platform including Lakehouse and Data Factory pipelines.
• Develop complex T-SQL queries and manage SQL Server environments for performance and reliability.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes with version control and governance.
• Manage end-to-end transformation pipelines, scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to adapt the warehouse to changing requirements.
