Job summary

Arkatechture is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Arkalytics Support Services team. This role focuses on supporting data warehousing and analytics solutions, with software engineering, cloud operations, and customer support responsibilities.

You will investigate complex production issues, develop permanent fixes, and build automation to improve reliability and scalability while collaborating with engineers, customers, and product experts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with AWS and Python.
• Strong SQL skills with Snowflake/Databricks.
• Familiar with REST APIs, Git, Jira/Confluence, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the Arkalytics platform.
• Develop software enhancements and automation to improve stability.
• Investigate incidents in AWS cloud environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code and improve monitoring and logging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations and documentation improvements.
• Stay current with new tech and suggest platform improvements.
