Job summary

Binti seeks a Data Engineer to own the data layer powering agency reporting and to transform internal models into clean analytical tables. You will design conformed dimensions with stable grain, readable naming, and documented semantics while ensuring security and data-ownership rules are respected.

As the first dedicated function in this area, you will build reusable assets, establish monitoring for data freshness, and collaborate with product lifecycle teams to deliver robust BI solutions

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience with data emphasis.
• Strong SQL skills and seasoned in dimensional modeling.
• Ability to translate requirements into data models for compliance and reporting.
• Experience with modern BI tools and their modeling layers.
• Familiarity with governing data standards and federal reporting (gov-tech) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the data layer powering agency reporting.
• Build transformations turning models into analytical tables.
• Design conformed dimensions, stable grain, and readable naming.
• Maintain data quality, security, and authorization scoping.
• Establish monitoring for data freshness and quality.
• Design reporting architecture aligned with product lifecycle.
• Support time series, cohorts, aging and time-in-status, PIT snapshots.
• Create reusable assets and self-service tools for teams.
• Build stock and customer-specific reports and support customer launches.
• Ingest new agency reporting requirements and map to data solutions.
