Job summary

Binti is hiring a Data Engineer to own the data layer powering agency reporting. You will design transformations, establish modeling conventions, and build reusable BI data assets for customers in the government social services space.

You will collaborate with product and analytics to ensure data correctness, security, and timely reporting, while supporting statewide and agency-level reporting efforts.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software engineering with data focus.
• Strong SQL skills and dimensional modeling expertise.
• Experience building transformation pipelines with tests and lineage.
• Ability to translate government/compliance needs into data models.
• Familiarity with modern BI modeling layers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data transformation layer for analytics.
• Model data with conformed dimensions and clear naming.
• Ensure data security, permissions, and data freshness monitoring.
• Own reporting end-to-end for a module and support customers.
