Job summary

Bits In Glass is seeking a hands-on Databricks Solution Architect to design data and AI platforms for enterprise clients. You will shape Lakehouse architectures, build prototypes, and set technical direction for delivery teams, collaborating with account and delivery teams throughout the sales process.

This highly technical role requires 3+ years with Databricks/Snowflake, 5+ years in customer-facing tech roles, and Databricks certification. Remote-friendly with up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Databricks and/or Snowflake in a technical capacity.
• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles—solutions architecture or sales engineering.
• Experience designing production data architectures for enterprise customers on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Databricks Professional-level certification.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Databricks architectures (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) tailored to customer environments.
• Lead discovery workshops to understand objectives and data challenges.
• Build prototypes, PoCs, and reference architectures showcasing Lakehouse capabilities.
• Advise on data pipelines, modeling, and platform governance.
• Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to ensure architectural plans are realized.
