Cutter Associates invites a Data Migration Consultant to work on Investment Management implementations remotely from the US. You will convert legacy data to a cloud-based investment platform, validate results, and ensure clean migration in collaboration with client stakeholders.

Candidates bring strong data management skills, SQL and database experience (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres), familiarity with ETL tools, advanced Excel, and clear communication with technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial instrument data and investment accounting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and major database management systems (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
• Proficiency with data integration or ETL tools and methodologies.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including complex formulas, data validation, and reconciliation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Convert data from legacy client systems to the new cloud-based investment management platform, ensuring accuracy through validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation of differences between source and target systems.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand, map, and interpret source data for migration and integration into the client environment.
• Support the overall migration process by identifying data issues, documenting solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition.
