Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Contract to hire Business Analyst to support data migration from a legacy retirement platform to a new retirement system. Fully remote, US or Canada-based, with EST work hours.

You will gather requirements, map data, and ensure data quality across migration lifecycle, working with stakeholders and agile teams. Experience in retirement recordkeeping, Defined Contribution plans, Omni is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with a strong focus on enterprise data migration.
• Experience in the U.S. retirement industry preferred.
• Defined Contribution retirement plans experience required.
• Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and technical teams to gather and document business and data migration requirements.
• Analyze legacy and target system data structures to define source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules.
• Document business rules, field mappings, data conversions, and data lineage to support migration activities.
• Partner with development and data engineering teams to ensure migration requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Support data profiling, data quality assessments, reconciliation, and validation efforts throughout the migration process.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and business process impacts, providing recommendations for resolution.
• Work with business users to define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for migrated data.
• Assist with reporting requirements, validating reports and ensuring reporting accuracy following data conversion.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews as needed.
• Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the migration initiative.
