Job summary

Nymbus, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Analyst to own the data migration lifecycle for banks and credit unions implementing the Nymbus Core platform. You will analyze source data, map and transform data, and validate conversions to ensure accuracy before go-live milestones.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience in financial services with data conversion, data migration, ETL, or related software development within core banking or fintech.
• Proficiency in SQL for analyzing, mapping, transforming, reconciling, or validating data.
• Familiarity with additional programming or scripting languages is preferred.
• Understanding banking data, regulations, and PII handling is important.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data requirements for migrating donor systems into the Nymbus Core platform.
• Analyze and map data across banking functions, including deposits, loans, demographics, and general ledger.
• Use SQL and other languages to map source data and define transformation logic.
• Verify conversion output against specifications, requirements and transformation rules.
• Test and validate converted data using reporting tools, reconciliation, and QA checks.
• Identify data quality issues, transformation errors, and anomalies affecting accuracy.
• Lead client discussions on source data structures, rules, mapping decisions, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with client project teams, internal delivery consultants, and technical staff.
• Support multiple concurrent conversions, coordinating priorities and deadlines.
• Design and improve AI-assisted tools and automations to speed data migration.
• Explore automation for field-mapping recommendations across donor cores.
• Document conversion patterns, data-mapping standards, and validation procedures.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks and shared institutional knowledge.
• Recommend improvements to processes, tools, and quality controls.
• Maintain a flexible schedule for occasional travel or weekend work when required.
