Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data Analyst who thrives on knowledge sharing, problem solving, and technology modernization.

You will partner with Enterprise Analytics & Customer Experience to migrate analytics from on-prem to cloud-based platforms, guiding data engineering, reporting, and governance across projects. The role focuses on ensuring data products meet business needs, quality standards, and SLAs while supporting Marketing Data Platform initiatives and multi-tenant governance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Six or more years of experience in application development.
Experience supporting cloud migration and analytics modernization programs.
Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, marketing workflows, and banking data domains.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance on Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory and other cloud-native technologies.
Define and socialise cloud architecture patterns, coding standards, and governance practices.
Assist stakeholders with environment setup, onboarding, metadata management, training materials, and access requirements.
Migrate data mining, auditing, data quality, aggregation, ETL/ELT, reconciliation, reporting, and visualization workloads to cloud solutions.
Lead production issue troubleshooting and governance enhancements across the data platform.
