Eagle Health Analytics (EHA), LLC, working with the CDC, seeks a remote Data Manager to support data processing, documentation, and analysis for public health datasets. The role emphasizes SAS programming, QA of datasets, and collaboration with CDC IT for server maintenance and security.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a related field and have 3+ years in SAS programming and data management, with experience handling large longitudinal databases.

Qualifications

• Master’s in public health, biological sciences, computer sciences, epidemiology or statistics.
• 3+ years in advanced SAS programming.
• 3+ years in data management with large relational longitudinal databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide data management support: processing, cleaning, documenting, consolidating, archiving, transferring data.
• Post data in various formats and locations; retrieve daily data and prepare for public datasets.
• Document development and implementation of data collection methods and protocols.
• Maintain and support the virtual server and monitor health of the system.
• Collaborate with CDC IT to ensure server up-to-date, manage SAS Studio access, and security documents.
• Automate recurring reports and data presentations using Windows batch, Windows Scheduler, and SAS.
• Create and manage QA programs for daily downloads and develop QC scripts.
• Provide analytic support including epidemiologic and statistical analyses.
• Produce reports, tables, and presentations of data and distribute via batch processing.
• Provide data consultation to epidemiologists and analysts.
• Interpret analyses and provide feedback on data needs.
