Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Public Health Analyst to join the CDC HIV Prevention Capacity Development Branch. The role centers on SAS-driven data management, quantitative epidemiology, and producing outputs to support public health decisions.

Remote is possible with a preference for Atlanta-area proximity; the position offers hybrid/remote work and focuses on data management, reporting, and analytic development for public health initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience generating SAS-based reports (PROC REPORT/TABULATE) and exporting to Excel/PDF/HTML.
• Data manipulation, cleaning, and validation using SAS functions, formats, macros, and procedures.
• Ability to create tables, figures, and summaries for reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SAS-based data analysis and interpretation.
• Enter variable definitions for survey questionnaires (names, labels, values).
• Generate data retrievals and summary outputs; support dissemination and reporting to stakeholders.
• Develop SAS programs for data management and validation; review outputs for quality.
