Job summary

Ascend Technologies is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Lead to own our data strategy from source systems to executive dashboards. This remote role requires CST working hours and a proven ability to turn multi-source data into trusted, actionable insights.

You will partner with our Data & AI Architect and cross-functional teams to design scalable data models, automate reporting, and develop predictive tools that inform strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering dashboards and reports.
• Strong SQL: write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Work with multi-source data and produce clean analytics outputs.
• Self-directed, able to manage workload with minimal oversight.
• Familiar with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Paylocity, or Sage Intacct data models.

Responsibilities

• Work with source systems (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Paylocity, Sage Intacct) via SQL and APIs to extract, normalize, and shape data.
• Design and build executive-ready dashboards and reports in Power BI and Claude-based dashboards.
• Partner with the Data & AI Architect on predictive models and forecasting tools.
• Collaborate with leadership to surface reporting needs and map workflows to scalable data models.
• Own the business-facing data dictionary and participate in Data Governance.
• Move toward automation and self-service analytics to reduce manual reporting.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
