Job summary

LexisNexis is recruiting for an entry-level data verification and data-entry role in the United States. You will verify data against source documents, assemble files in a prescribed sequence, and complete weekly timesheets while following ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Commitment of up to three weeks of full time remote training.
• Commitment of a minimum of 40 productive at home hours per week.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Availability for additional virtual training and meetings as needed.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment assessments. Ability to meet and maintain each applicable department’s quantity and quality metrics.
• High Speed Internet capability.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Verifies data from source documents according to established procedures and rules.
• Verifies data entered with source documents for typographical errors, missing or repeated data, correct use of composition codes, style rules and edits to make corrections, additions or deletions as appropriate.
• Searches entire application while assembling file in a prescribed sequence, identifying and preparing all necessary Text, CWU and Drawings information while ensuring a product conforming to established rules and guidelines.
• Complete timesheets on a weekly basis.
• Follows standard procedures as outlined by current ISO requirements.
• Performs other job related duties as required.
• Works with clearly defined procedures
• Acquires basic skills to perform routine task
• Entry-level business support or operation role.
• No prior training or related work experience required.
