Henry Schein One is seeking a Data Engineering Manager for our Patient Experience and Analytics Solution. You will lead technical strategy, drive execution, and model engineering best practices in a hands-on leadership role.

This is remote within the United States with up to 10% travel. You will guide teams through real-time streaming with Kafka, batch ETL, data warehousing, CDC patterns, and high-volume analytics while partnering with Product and senior leadership to shape the product vision

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software and data solution development experience.
• Proven ability to balance hands-on delivery with people leadership and mentoring.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale data pipelines, APIs, and high-volume data processing.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data movement, and scalable design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams while remaining hands-on in execution.
• Recruit, develop and retain high-performing engineers and leaders.
• Coach teams to deliver on objectives and priorities.
• Remove delivery roadblocks and enable continuous delivery at scale.
• Ensure products are secure, compliant, reliable, and operable.
• Collaborate with Product and leadership to shape vision and execution.
• Build cross-functional relationships to improve customer experience.
• Advance engineering processes and organizational maturity for growth.
