Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree; Master’s preferred in CS, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Proven track record designing enterprise data architectures.
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services (Glue, Data Factory, Dataflow).
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and pipeline optimization (dbt, Airflow, Informatica, Talend).
• Familiar with real‑time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) and data governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a scalable, enterprise-wide data architecture aligned with business and technology goals.
• Oversee data lakes, warehouses, and cloud analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Lead modern data architecture patterns, including event-driven architectures and real-time analytics.
• Provide guidance on database optimization, storage, and security (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Direct ETL/ELT strategies using Python, Airflow, dbt, or Informatica.
• Architect cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) to support analytics, AI, and operations.
• Define data quality, lineage, and cataloging using Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, or DataHub.
