Henry Schein One, a global leader in dental practice management, seeks a seasoned Sr VP of Software Engineering to lead North American applications and integrations. You will define a cohesive technology strategy and drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence. Remote in the U.S.

or hybrid in American Fork, UT with travel up to 25%. You will oversee budgets, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with architecture, Security, DevOps, product management, and business partners

Qualifications

• 15–20 years in software R&D with leadership experience
• 5–7 years in senior software leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Certifications in innovation, design thinking, or emerging technologies a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee North American software development to deliver scalable, secure solutions
• Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, product, and business stakeholders
• Champion modern development practices and AI-enabled approaches
• Act as a customer advocate to improve reliability and user experience
• Lead engineering through AI transformations and manage tech budgets
• Ensure governance and compliance with regulatory and security standards
• Define and execute technology strategy aligned with business goals
