DMI, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team. The role involves comprehensive database management, monitoring, tuning, and security across production systems. You will work remotely from the United States and collaborate with federal projects where required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of database management experience, 1+ year with a federal agency or contractor, and 3+ years in IT, with a Bachelor’s degree. US citizenship may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years database management and administration experience.
• 1+ years experience with a federal agency or federal contractor.
• 3+ years Information Technology Experience.

Responsibilities

• Database monitoring, integration, replication, notification, analysis, tuning, problem resolution, reporting and production support.
• Performing SQL Server upgrades; testing patch strategies.
• Coordinate with DBAs on operations, hardware, and security.
• Create primary database storage structures and migration scripts.
• Design efficient database architecture and maintain performance and tuning.
• Optimize database performance, security, and user access.
• Schedule, automate, and monitor job and system performance.
• Develop backup and recovery procedures and establish access controls.
