Qualifications

Job Title – Senior Data Engineer

Location – Hybrid in Alexandria, VA – typically 3 days onsite / 2 days remote, with occasional 4-day onsite weeks based on business needs

Must Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools
• Strong data engineering background spanning data warehouses, data lakes/lake architectures, ETL patterns, and data quality frameworks
• Proven ability to partner with multiple business and back-office functions, gather requirements, and advance enterprise data engineering capabilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical and data engineering concepts into plain English for business stakeholders
• Experience with Power BI and semantic modeling
• Experience operating in a government contracting or similarly compliance-driven environment, including data governance and risk considerations

• Communicate technical concepts, recommendations, and data strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bring a proactive, can-do approach to identifying opportunities and driving measurable improvements across the organization’s data environment.
