Job summary

Royper Royco LLC seeks a Data Engineer to build and optimize client data pipelines, onboarding new sources and transforming complex files into reliable datasets. You will own production workflows, troubleshoot issues, and develop scalable ingestion using SQL, Python, Spark, Databricks, and AWS.

You will work with analytics, campaign, and technical teams to ensure data quality, security, and timely campaign delivery in a fully remote US role with a Dallas preference.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering building and operating production data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python with practical Spark or equivalent large-scale processing experience.
• Experience in cloud data environments (Databricks, AWS) and data orchestration.
• Ability to transform inconsistent sources into reliable production feeds and ensure data quality.

Responsibilities

• Onboard client data sources, validate and transform into production-ready datasets.
• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, Spark.
• Configure scheduled jobs, monitoring, tests, and automated alerts to improve reliability.
• Own Databricks and AWS workflow monitoring, troubleshoot failures and changes.
