Job summary

Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in the US to design and maintain robust data pipelines across our cloud platforms. In this role, you will enable data products by sourcing data via batch and stream processing and ensuring data quality across platforms.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to automate workflows and deploy resilient pipelines in production. Remote/hybrid options are available for authorized US workers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Mastery of Python and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP and PySpark.
• UNIX/Linux, Docker, Git and CI/CD familiarity.
• Solid understanding of data structures, batch/stream processing, and MLOps lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming ingestion into Data Lakes/warehouses.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to automate workflows and support retraining loops.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and storage across clouds.
• Implement data quality frameworks and governance across datasets.
• Document standards, architectures, and DevOps practices for data platforms.
