Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an entry‑level Data Entry Specialist to support utility outreach and customer inquiries. You will prioritize requests, assist with bill inquiries and payment escalations, and collaborate with internal teams.

This remote role offers occasional office visits for meetings. Candidates usually have 1–3 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, with intermediate Excel skills (no need for VLOOKUP/macros). The position may extend to two years; equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates with 1–3 years of work experience and a bachelor's degree are welcome.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with customer service and collaboration across teams is preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills required; advanced lookups/macros not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Handle data entry tasks related to utility outreach and prioritise incoming requests.
• Assist with bill inquiries and payment escalations while maintaining accuracy.
• Audit work, collaborate with internal teams, and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Deliver good customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Meet weekly metrics and deadlines; support onboarding of customers to the platform.
• Work remotely with occasional office visits for scheduled meetings.
