Ericsson Inc. is seeking an Associate Data Center Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment in hyperscale and enterprise data centers.

This entry-level role focuses on hands-on tasks such as equipment staging, rack prep, cabling, labeling, inventory, and documentation, building skills for growth in data center operations. You will work under guidance to perform MACD activities, follow safety and quality standards, and develop technical proficiency in cabling,

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with copper or fiber cabling is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and use hand tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with senior technicians.
• Prior data center or field service exposure is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Unpack, stage, and inventory equipment and cabling per area.
• Assist with rack positioning, leveling, and preparation under supervision.
• Install rack accessories and set up PDUs.
• Support MACD activities and basic patching.
• Route and dress cabling to established standards.
• Record serial numbers, rack locations, and installation records.
• Follow MOPs, safety, and quality procedures.
