Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Account Manager to lead relationships with Data Center Operators, define strategy, and drive cost savings while ensuring growth and sustainability across regions.

You will manage contract negotiations, analyze the data center landscape, coordinate with partners and provisioning teams, and organize regular business reviews to plan upcoming projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data Center account management or related field.
• Strong commercial and contractual negotiation skills with creative deal-structuring ability.
• Solid knowledge of Internet, interconnection space and Data Center marketplace.
• Excellent data analysis, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Data Center Operators to deploy high-density servers.
• Organize regular business reviews with Data Centers to plan upcoming projects.
• Analyze the Data Center landscape to identify technical and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Partners and Vendors to establish cost-effective relationships and execute agreements.
• Lead contract negotiations to scale Akamai's platforms for customer demand.
• Ensure capacity upgrades are timely by coordinating with provisioning teams.
