Job summary

FourFound is seeking a Director of Site Selection to lead the site acquisition process for its data center development portfolio. You will own strategy, due diligence, zoning, and commercial negotiations to deliver ready-to-build sites.

The role partners with landowners, utilities, authorities and internal teams to build a repeatable site selection process, with travel as needed and strong emphasis on delivering commercially attractive projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in site selection, real estate development, or major infrastructure projects.
• Five+ years negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Experience managing land acquisition, due diligence, permitting or entitlement processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering findings into commercial decisions.
• Proven track record managing relationships with landowners, utilities, government bodies, consultants and lawyers.
• Strong negotiation, communication and PM skills; able to handle multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Shape location strategy by identifying markets and sites to support development plans.
• Lead site identification, evaluation and land acquisition; negotiate complex agreements.
• Oversee due diligence, coordinating engineering consultants and advisers.
• Assess site constraints, infrastructure needs and risks; propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead zoning, permitting and entitlement activities with authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate power availability with utilities and internal teams.
• Prepare investment updates and project summaries for senior leadership.
• Develop repeatable site selection and contracting processes.
