Storm4 is seeking a Director, Site Selection & Strategy to lead identifying, evaluating and acquiring new data center development sites across strategic U.S. markets. The role oversees siting, due diligence, and handover into development, collaborating with real estate, power, infrastructure and development teams.

Based in Dallas or willing to relocate, you will drive feasibility, investment decisions and site approvals, while coordinating with utilities and brokers to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across site selection, acquisition or data center development.
• Direct data center industry experience is required.
• Strong understanding of land acquisition, entitlements, permitting and development due diligence.
• Experience evaluating power availability and infrastructure requirements for data center sites.
• Strong commercial judgement and experience supporting investment decisions.
• Based in Dallas or open to relocation.
• Ability to travel domestically as required.

Responsabilités

• Lead site selection and acquisition opportunities across strategic U.S. markets.
• Evaluate sites across land, power, connectivity, zoning, permitting, environmental and infrastructure requirements.
• Manage due diligence alongside utilities, municipalities, brokers, consultants and internal teams.
• Assess development feasibility, commercial considerations and project risk.
• Present site recommendations and investment cases to senior leadership.
• Support land negotiations, incentives, easements and acquisition processes.
• Manage multiple opportunities through approval and transition into development.
