Job summary

JLL seeks a Development & Permitting Coordinator to support land use entitlements, zoning approvals, and building permits for development projects. Under senior guidance, you will navigate regulatory requirements and coordinate with stakeholders to promote timely approvals.

You will assist with permit submissions, coordination with agencies, and tracking deadlines while learning regulatory processes within JLL's collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years in development, permitting, land use planning, or related field
• Understand land use regulations, zoning codes, and permit processes
• Strong organizational skills to track multiple permit applications and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to read site plans and zoning maps
• Able to work collaboratively within a team and learn regulatory processes

Responsibilities

• Support submission of permit applications for land use, zoning, building, and environmental approvals
• Coordinate with government agencies, planning departments, and regulatory bodies
• Track permit applications, timelines, and compliance requirements
• Research zoning regulations and building codes under supervision
• Prepare documentation and reports for permit submissions
• Assist in coordinating technical consultants and accessibility to permits
