Job summary

SB Energy, a SoftBank/Ares-backed infrastructure leader, seeks a qualified candidate to oversee hyper-scale data center projects from due diligence through construction administration. You will lead multi-discipline design teams, manage client relationships, and deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a degree in Architecture or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, 6+ years in data center design, Lean Six Sigma, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data center design management & engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification.
• Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center due diligence and design teams to deliver projects that meet the client's requirements, on schedule and to a high degree of quality.
• Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
• Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage and communicate change throughout the project.
• Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.
• Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve outstanding issues.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for new and add/move/change data center design projects
• Develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders/buyers
