Job summary

EPC Project Management Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Data Center Cost Manager to oversee all cost management activities for a hyperscale data center client. The role is remote with periodic travel to Abilene, TX and some on-site work as required.

The successful candidate will develop budgets, manage change orders, and provide detailed cost reporting while collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure budget adherence and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management or related field; 7–10 years cost management exp. is acceptable.
• Strong cost management, estimating, financial analysis, and budgeting knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand design information and engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to project teams through the lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout.
• Produce project-level cost reports detailing cost, estimates, planning, operations, and benchmarking.
• Develop and maintain project budgets from design through completion.
• Assist with change order management, including estimating, negotiating, and tracking costs.
• Reconcile data with client financial controls and systems.
• Manage payment applications and invoice processing for the project.
• Develop and present key cost data to stakeholders and team members.
