Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Construction Administration Project Manager to lead data center projects through construction, bridging design intent with field execution, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely closeout.

You will travel to project sites as needed, manage documentation, and protect client interests while keeping stakeholders informed of milestones and decisions. This role emphasizes collaboration and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; associate degree with equivalent experience accepted.
• 4+ years in the AEC industry with increasing project responsibilities.
• 2+ years in project management, construction management, or construction administration.
• Understanding of engineering/design terminology, construction processes, contracts, project financials, and codes.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and resolve issues across teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and construction mgmt platforms (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Newforma, Smartsheet or similar).
• Commitment to client service, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary connection between Olsson's design team, client representatives, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders during construction.
• Coordinate construction-phase documentation: RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, substitutions, design packages, and related records.
• Review documentation for cross-discipline coordination, completeness, and alignment with design intent and contracts.
• Evaluate design changes and field conditions; assess effects on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead or participate in project meetings and communicate decisions to teams and partners.
• Track progress, outstanding items, risks, and milestones; maintain organized records.
• Support project financials through invoice coordination, change management, and schedule monitoring.
• Conduct site observations to monitor progress and identify deficiencies.
• Coordinate resolution of technical/site issues to minimize rework and delays.
• Support project closeout including punch lists, testing, commissioning, and deliverables.
