Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Lead Project Manager to guide multidisciplinary engineering design projects for data center campuses, from early planning through final construction-ready documents. You will build strong client relationships and lead diverse teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent Associate degree, 6+ years in AEC, and 2+ years of project management, with experience in large-scale facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in the AEC industry with increasing project responsibilities.
• 2+ years of project management experience, preferably on multidisciplinary engineering or architectural projects.
• Experience leading or coordinating large-scale industrial, mission-critical, or campus-style developments is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methods, contracts, budgeting, and project controls.
• Ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations with leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning efforts, including scope, milestones, schedules, deliverables, and goals.
• Manage project execution from concept design through issued-for-construction documents.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams for large data center campuses.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders through proactive communication.
• Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions while driving accountability.
• Oversee development and delivery of engineering and architectural design packages, drawings, models, reports, and calculations.
• Support quality management by coordinating technical reviews for accurate, high-quality work.
• Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and support contract administration.
• Identify and address risks and opportunities while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Mentor and support team members to foster collaboration and project success.
