Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead onsite startup, testing, and commissioning of medium and low-voltage power delivery systems in data center environments across the United States. You will coordinate with project teams, manage safety and quality, and act as the primary client liaison.

The role requires extensive travel (75%), strong leadership, and deep knowledge of commissioning processes and electrical protection systems. Remote in the US with onsite presence as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical equipment field service, startup, testing or commissioning.
• Experience supporting data center construction or mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite activities related to startup, testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to validate resources, materials, and milestones.
• Serve as the primary onsite representative for the client and stakeholders.
• Plan onsite activities, labor, equipment needs, and sequencing.
• Implement and uphold HSE standards on site and take corrective action if needed.
• Maintain field documentation, drawings, and punchlist updates.
