Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Architect to lead the enterprise data architecture strategy for the UPDB and UHAIV programs from Salt Lake City, UT, while enabling a fully remote work arrangement with occasional onsite meetings near the University of Utah.

You will design scalable data models, governance standards, and analytics platforms to support healthcare research, AI, and operational reporting. 12-month contract with potential extensions based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in enterprise data architecture or related leadership roles.
• Experience designing data warehouses, data marts, and enterprise data models.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Knowledge of metadata management, governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data architecture strategy for UPDB and UHAIV programs.
• Design scalable data models, governance frameworks, metadata standards and analytics platforms.
• Establish architectural standards, oversee Data Mart development and ensure data assets are governed and optimized.
• Role is based in Salt Lake City, UT, with fully remote work and occasional onsite meetings near the University of Utah.
• Initial contract term is 12 months with potential extensions.
