Job summary

VIA in Boston is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into clear narratives that power client decisions. You will work on high-velocity Agile teams, collaborating with software engineers, data peers, and client delivery professionals to lead data initiatives end to end with precision and security.

You will build AI-powered data products, implement automated insights, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted data quality checks, while ensuring data pipelines are reliable and scalable

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data-driven role or equivalent in data-related research projects
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, mathematics, engineering, or a data-driven field
• Python, R, or equivalent programming language
• Experience with two or more technologies: SQL/PostgreSQL, data science libraries, data pipelining tools, cloud providers

Responsibilities

• Understand data and domain with client delivery teams to translate requirements into data infrastructure needs
• Explore customer data to identify contents, ranges, trends, and data quality improvements
• Deliver AI-powered data products including interactive analyses, quality reports, and visualizations
• Own ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure data quality through automated tests and documentation
