Job summary

Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) seeks a Data, Analytics and AI Consultant to operate and advance the Fabric platform, ensuring scalable, secure analytics and AI-enabled insights across PAHO’s regional data landscape. You will manage platform operations, drive modernization, and collaborate with PAHO data owners and ITS teams.

The role demands hands-on data engineering with Fabric, Data Factory, and Power BI, plus strong SQL/PySpark skills, Workday integration, and governance

Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
At least five years of data engineering, analytics and BI experience in complex environments.
Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Fabric since GA; capacity admin, CI/CD, security and standards.

Responsibilities

Manage Fabric platform operations, capacity and costs; monitor and optimize workloads.
Design and maintain ingestion/transformation with Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2 and Spark notebooks.
Develop and maintain semantic models, DAX, and certified datasets for PAHO reporting.
Produce monthly activity reports and maintain runbooks, documentation and governance.
