Job summary
Himalayas is seeking a technical Microsoft Fabric Developer to join a remote, fully‑remote data and analytics programme. You will work across Data Engineering, BI, and AI-enabled data platforms to build and maintain Fabric data products and Power BI reporting solutions.
This mid‑level role requires hands‑on experience with Fabric, Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, and strong SQL/Python/PySpark skills in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Analytics Development.
- Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience including Fabric Workspaces, Lakehouses, and Dataflows Gen2.
- Strong Power BI development experience and data modelling capabilities.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience building production-grade data pipelines.
- Python and/or PySpark experience for data transformation.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Workspaces and Fabric Lakehouses.
- Design and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Develop data pipelines in Fabric and Azure Data Factory; ingest from SQL, APIs, SharePoint, CSV.
- Write complex SQL queries and create views for analytics workloads.
- Develop and maintain Fabric notebooks using Python/PySpark.
- Support AI-enabled data environments and AI-related data structures.
