Centene Corporation is seeking a data analytics professional to analyze diverse datasets and deliver actionable insights. You will work with stakeholders to identify value, develop solutions, and improve member outcomes while reducing costs.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and Power BI capabilities and a proactive, collaborative mindset. The position emphasizes executive-level communication of data-driven recommendations, automation opportunities, and delivering high-quality analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management or 2+ years of IT experience.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred. Knowledge of SQL/querying languages. Preferred knowledge of Python and R.
• Preferred knowledge of modern BI and visualization tools including PowerBI.

Responsabilités

• Analyze data from claims, provider, member, and encounters data to inform business decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex SQL, Excel, or analytics scripts/reports.
• Plan and execute large-scale projects with limited direction from leadership.
• Identify root causes of data irregularities and communicate findings to leadership and customers.
