Job summary

RJM Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst (Health & Aging) for a remote, part-time contract assignment. You will analyze national health and aging datasets, support Brain Health projects, and develop analytic plans in collaboration with staff.

The role focuses on epidemiologic analysis of large datasets (NHIS, BRFSS, HRS, etc.), data cleaning, and producing clear outputs for reports and publications. 6-month contract with potential to extend.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related field.
• Experience analyzing large population-based health datasets.
• Experience with SAS, Stata, or R.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses of national health and aging datasets.
• Develop analytic approaches and statistical analysis plans with Brain Health staff.
• Clean, manage, recode, and analyze complex survey datasets with survey weights and design variables.
• Perform descriptive and multivariable analyses addressing prevalence, trends, disparities, and risk factors.
• Create tables, figures, and visualizations for reports and manuscripts.
• Review analytic findings and translate results for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Conduct literature reviews to contextualize findings and inform methods.
• Document analytic methods and data sources to ensure reproducibility.
• Provide additional epidemiologic support for Brain Health projects as needed.
