Job summary

The Consortium is seeking a part-time data analyst to provide data analysis and epidemiologic support to a Brain Health team, with potential to move to full-time. This remote role focuses on national population-based datasets and large-scale health surveys.

The successful candidate will analyze NHIS, BRFSS, HRS and other datasets, develop analytic plans, manage complex survey data, and translate findings for technical and nontechnical audiences, contributing to reports, briefs, and peer-reviewed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related quantitative field.
• Experience analyzing large population-based health datasets.
• Experience with SAS, Stata, or R for epidemiologic analyses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze national health and aging datasets (NHIS, BRFSS, HRS, etc.).
• Develop analytic plans in collaboration with Brain Health staff.
• Clean, manage, and analyze complex survey data with weights and design vars.
• Produce tables, figures, and data visualizations for reports and briefs.
• Interpret findings and translate results for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Review literature to contextualize findings and inform methods.
• Document analytic methods and data sources for reproducibility.
• Provide epidemiologic support for Brain Health projects.
