Job summary

The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking a Research Coordinator to join the Applied Research team within the Analytics for Change Enhancement (ACE) Division in Austin, TX. You will manage external research requests and coordinate with internal programs to ensure compliant data access and study design.

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
Experience coordinating research requests or program evaluation activities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage external research requests to access DFPS data.
Serve as liaison between external researchers and DFPS programs.
Review proposals, MOUs, and related documentation for completeness.
Monitor active research studies and facilitate timely responses.
Conduct literature reviews to inform best practices.
Assist in planning and coordinating research/evaluation activities.
Attend and support internal/external meetings related to research projects.
