Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an Information Technology - Data Analyst to support senior research staff on consumer and social studies. The role involves designing questionnaires, assisting with surveys, data collection and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in applied research, experience with PowerPoint, SPSS/DisplayR, and Qualtrics, and a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred). The position is remote-friendly with some in-office presence required in DC; writing samples

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of applied research experience.
• Experience with PowerPoint, SPSS or DisplayR, and Qualtrics.
• Bachelor's degree; Masters preferred in Social Science, Marketing Research or related fields.
• DC office 2 days per week preferred; writing sample required with resume.

Responsibilities

• Develops and writes small-scale surveys, screeners, and interview guides.
• Manages vendor deliverables: maintains and updates research files, quality checks vendor deliverables, tracks and monitors client and vendor deliverables.
• Conducts statistical analyses using SPSS and other packages.
• Creates reports and presentations, including chart/table creation, using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Assures the quality of research reports by verifying accuracy of data by cross-referencing.
• Compiles, synthesizes, and analyzes secondary research collected from syndicated sources to share internally.
• Collaborates with peers across the research team on timely ad hoc data requests and contribute to fast-moving projects as needed.
