Job Description

Purpose: The main purpose of a data analyst is to find meaning in data as a thought leader so that derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions.

Essential Functions

• 25% Engages in data exploration using various programming languages (reading and writing code), requiring advanced knowledge of multiple database structures.
• 15% Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to glean insights, and develops business‑appropriate recommendations.
• 15% Serves as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and drives resolution.
• 15% Researches and analyzes data flow across a complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms.
• 10% Manages the collection of business and technical requirements from stakeholders to deliver data‑driven solutions. Produces and reviews technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards.
• 10% Leads in the design, development, validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions.
• 10% Acts as a mentor to all team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry (including Appeals and Grievances).
• Hands‑on experience with Big Data/NoSQL platforms and delivering production projects at scale.
