Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Services Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms using Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

This hands-on role focuses on secure, scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases, with an initial emphasis on public sector and regulated industries. The role is remote with a home office setup and requires collaboration with client stakeholders, solution engineers, and project managers

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering data engineering on Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Production data platforms with modeling, ETL/ELT, and monitoring.
• Security, governance, and regulated data handling.
• Experience in consulting or project-based delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines in Azure Data services.
• Build scalable data lakehouse and warehouse solutions on Azure & Fabric.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and security controls.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams for downstream reporting and AI workloads.
• Deliver documentation, runbooks, and reusable engineering frameworks.
