Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a hands-on Data Engineering Solutions Engineer to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
The role emphasizes secure, scalable data platforms for analytics and AI in regulated environments. You will own data ingestion, modeling, and governance across cloud and on-prem sources, collaborating with solution engineers, PMs, and clients.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience delivering modern data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics enablement.
- Familiarity with security, governance, and compliance concepts including identity-based access and encryption.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure services.
- Build and optimize data lakehouse and warehouse solutions in Azure and Fabric for analytics and AI.
- Collaborate with BI/analytics teams and stakeholders to prepare data for downstream use and governance.
