Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
This hands-on, delivery-focused role partners with Solution Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to implement secure, scalable data platforms for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases. The position is primarily remote, with a home office setup, and initial focus on state-level
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience delivering data engineering on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with production data platforms, data governance, and security.
- Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and customer events.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure data services.
- Build and optimize data lakehouse/warehouse solutions for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop data models, ETL/ELT processes, and governance for multi-source datasets.
