Job summary

RevStar is hiring a Data & AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed at the intersection of cloud architecture, hands-on engineering, and client-delivery for enterprise accounts. You will own the full delivery lifecycle, architect resilient AWS environments, modernize legacy infrastructure, and deploy state-of-the-art GenAI workloads.

This remote-first role focuses on driving AWS adoption, building POCs, and aligning technical strategy with client executives, while mentoring engineers and building

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps/SRE, or Software Engineering with a focus on AWS.
• 3+ years in a client-facing consulting, Solutions Architecture, or Forward Deployed Engineering role.
• Deep AWS Core Expertise across IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53.
• IaC and CI/CD proficiency (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation) with automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• AWS GenAI & Data Services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Cloud Architecture & Implementation: design and deploy secure, scalable AWS architectures with IaC and modern serverless patterns.
• Enterprise Customer Delivery: lead technical delivery for strategic enterprise engagements and translate goals into AWS solutions.
• Cloud Migration & Application Modernization: migrate and re-architect legacy apps to modern serverless or containerized architectures.
• AWS Generative AI & ML: architect and deploy GenAI/ML workloads using Bedrock, SageMaker, and vector databases.
• Drive Platform Adoption & Growth: identify high-value workloads and drive AWS consumption with ROI for executives.
• Technical Mentorship & Practice Building: coach engineers, develop reusable Terraform modules and best practices.
