Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Cytogenetics Technologist II - FISH for remote work to support specimen processing, analysis and results reporting in a fast-paced molecular diagnostics environment. The role requires MT or CG certification (ASCP) and ongoing licensure/CE; experience with cytogenetics methods and familiarity with lab QA/QC is preferred.

Remote site allows flexible scheduling with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Licensed MT or CG with ASCP certification.
• Continuing education for certification and licensure.
• Three years job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily specimen processing, analysis and reporting.
• Train new employees and trainees per department protocols.
• Assist supervisor with ordering supplies and inventory.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and participate in method validation.
• Ensure data confidentiality and comply with security policies.
