Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a remote Cytogenetics Analyst to join our team based in Brentwood, TN, with a work schedule of Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. This fully analysis-based role focuses on onscreen FISH analysis and occasional chromosome work using Metasystems Neon and ASI platforms, no wet lab required.

You will perform FISH and cytogenetic analyses, review requisitions, report ISCN results, and ensure quality patient care while complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science.
• ASCP CG certification.
• 1 year or more experience in FISH and Chromosomes for Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Perform FISH analysis and imaging of digitized images.
• Cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images.
• Review cytogenetic cases via computerized images and documents.
• Summarize test results using ISCN nomenclature.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment, software and applications.
• Provide accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Collaborate with supervisor on protocol/policy development and review.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
