Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Manager, CyberSecurity Risk Management to lead and mature the risk program across Rubrik’s security and product domains. You will coordinate cross-functional risk assessments, track remediation, and generate leadership-ready risk reporting to drive decisions.

You will partner with Security, Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Finance to deliver measurable outcomes, with a strong program management discipline and knowledge of major frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity risk management or GRC.
• Experience scaling risk programs in fast-paced tech/SaaS/cloud.
• Strong program management: planning, dependencies, status reporting.
• Solid knowledge of NIST RMF/800-37/800-30, ISO 27005, COBIT.
• Able to translate risk to business terms for leadership.
• Hands-on with agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Support program operations for the Cybersecurity Risk Management Program.
• Conduct risk assessments and triage security issues related to Rubrik’s products and infra.
• Draft risk statements translating findings into business impact with rationale.
• Maintain risk register with ownership, status, deadlines, and treatments.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk initiatives, track milestones, and manage actions.
• Drive remediation of risks to closure with risk owners and leadership reporting.
• Support risk governance cadence, risk committee prep, and escalation tracking.
• Collect and analyze program metrics; build dashboards for leadership.
• Scale risk assessment programs across enterprise, tech, and third parties.
• Execute risk assessments for systems, apps, cloud services, and initiatives; gather evidence.
• Map activities to frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, NIST CSF/800-53, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
• Contribute to risk quantification for business prioritization.
• Support GRC tooling, automation, and AI-enabled improvements with governance.
• Identify gaps and propose process improvements.
