Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Manager, CyberSecurity Risk Management to join our security risk management team. You will coordinate risk assessments, track remediation, and produce leadership-facing risk reporting to drive Rubrik’s cybersecurity risk posture.

You will partner with Security, Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Finance to deliver measurable outcomes. The role requires strong program management discipline, risk knowledge, and the ability to influence at all levels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk management or GRC.
• 3+ years in a program or project management role.
• Experience scaling a cybersecurity risk management program in SaaS/cloud environments.
• Strong program management skills: planning, dependencies, effort estimation, status reporting, cross-functional delivery.
• Solid knowledge of risk methodologies and common security frameworks.
• Technical understanding of cloud, identity, network, and application security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Security/CS/MIS or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support program operations for the Cybersecurity Risk Management Program.
• Conduct risk assessments and triage security issues related to Rubrik's products, services, and infrastructure.
• Draft clear risk statements translating technical findings into business impact and assumptions.
• Maintain the risk register with ownership, status, and target dates.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk initiatives, manage timelines and action items, flag risks early.
• Drive remediation of risks to closure with risk owners and leadership reporting.
• Prepare materials for risk committee meetings and track escalations and actions.
• Collect and analyze KPIs/KRIs, build dashboards, and prepare leadership updates.
• Support risk assessments at scale including enterprise, technical, and third-party risk.
• Execute cybersecurity risk assessments and gather evidence to validate controls.
• Map activities to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
• Contribute to risk quantification for business and financial prioritization.
• Support GRC tooling, automation, and AI-enabled improvements with governance.
